   Search Engine Registration Services

Search Engine Registration:

Effective marketing on the internet is your goal, now just how does
one go about accomplishing this? Networking your web site into programs and product or service related web sites is an important issue and one that should and does require an entire article of it's own, but is not the most important issue for successful web site promotion. The majority of your success is going to come from a successful search engine registration and monitoring program.

Let's face it, banner ads are ok, and important of your campaign, but will never bring the traffic that can be generated from one high link on a major Top 12 Search Engine.  Current trends show that search engines registration is changing on a daily basis. Registration policies, and acceptance of link terms, are changing as the market grows and the information contained in the search listings increases.  It takes regular research to insure that these policies are not being violated, while retaining the maximum benefit from the services they offer.

Regular visits to each search engine and keyword searches for your site are an important part of monitoring the success rates. It is a task not to be taken lightly or neglected, and can be the difference between success and failure for your web venture.

Many companies are currently offering to register your site with over
1,500 search engines, link listing pages etc.., do these do you any good?  In my opinion no. Most of these sites, that your information is sent to, is no more than a collection point for your e-mail and personal information for further distribution or spam mailings.  Don't be fooled by the low price of these services. I have found that in the search engine registration business, you get what you pay for.  I good campaign by an experienced company in the field, is not a cheap affair, these typically run from $300.00 to $1,000.00 and more for a 6 month registration and monitoring program.  Check into the credentials and background of the company you are dealing with.  Will they provide an accurate tracking system to report to you the success of the program?

Have they prepared your site with the proper meta tags and descriptions to increase the potential of those coveted high listings?  These are only a small portion of the entire process of getting your site "search engine ready."

Make sure these areas have been covered before you get started with the registration process. It is easier to get your site listed the first time correctly than to back track and try and increase your listing once the site has been improperly registered.  Get it right the first time, take it seriously and if needed, hire a professional to do it.  It is not worth the possibility of getting listed but on the 25th page for your keywords, for the lack of funds to do registration correctly.  Wait to register your site, or re register it, until your site has been prepared for the arrival of the indexing spiders for of the search engines.

Proper registration can do more for your site in promotion than a $1,000.00 banner ad campaign.  It can generate more traffic in one day than links for your site on 100 other web sites or banner exchanges.

Take control of the future of your web site and get it listed but insure
that it is done correctly and then monitored for success, or your money is just as well flushed down the drain.
